How it works

Our 2 stage ultrafilters eliminate up to 99.9% of waterborne pathogens from any fresh water source.

UF Hollow Fibre Membrane

Hollow fiber filters are like the microscopic version of a sieve, trapping anything on its surface.

These microthin tubules allow water to enter freely into their pores while blocking harmful pathogens and particles outside; it’s 99% effective against bacteria (average size: 0.5 mm).

Minerals don't get caught by these ultrafine fibers so you retain all your mineral benefits too!

Carbon Fibre Block Filtration

The second stage of this filter uses an activated carbon fibre block as a water-purifying medium, which helps to improve taste.

It significantly reduces chlorine levels and other volatile organic compounds like benzene or pesticides (which can be found in some sources).

In addition it removes heavy metals too!

  • Things to keep in mind

    WaterWell filters are intended to remove biological particle contamination from water. They will not be able to effectively filter additives such as isotonic powders, rehydration tablets, cordials, juices etc.

    While the filter removes 99.9% of parasites and bacteria, it cannot filter dissolved salts such as sea water and urine.

    The filter removes 99% of chlorine for up 500 litres of tap water. However, it cannot filter out fluoride.
